Not to take anything away from your experience or your 2.0 16v,
... but he had to be playing with you....
the 540iT is electronically governed to 155 mph,
Maybye he had his son in the back seat,
or maybye he just didn't have the ballz,
or maybye he was a poser, and was really driving a 518/520/525iT (118-137mph
top speeds)

at any rate, good show!
