(coil problems!)

I was going to replace my 8v coil with a 16v coil to take
advantage of the higher output voltage of the 16v coil. I also
researched after market, canister style, high voltage coils for my car.
I found the Accel 8145 has the same primary resistance (0.7 ohms) of the
stock coil with an output voltage of 45 kV. It also stated in its
description that it is the coil to use for electronic ignition. The
price is about $36. Check Bentley for the resistance of the 16v coil
and Accel's home page for specs.
