Brings up a question for all you experienced racers:
which is the most effective on an autocross course, three-year-old, =
nearly-dead race tires or new performance street tires?  (Sizes, =
diameters, etc. being more-or-less equal.)

i.e., given the choice, what would YOU choose on YOUR car?

  Well, it's 7:15AM and I just got ddressed and ready to go to the =

  Should be fun! Yesterday I ended up changing my dr side outer rear whl =

  bearing, OUCH, it almost fell apart in my hand when I took it out. =

  took the dust cover it looked like the grease had been boiled,eeK. I =

  however pack both sides nice and tight with grease and cranked the but =
down=20
  to ensure being nice and tight.
  I am going to run my race tires this time! Should be lots of fun on =
some old=20
  hard R compound. I'll let you all know how things go when I get back =
and=20
  have the energy to, its supposed to be in the 80's and really sunny, =
I'll be=20
  baked, and really tired, but its all worth it!!
