a Scirocco list CALL TO ACTION!!! (So Rantorific)
The thing I find the most interesting, is that many of the owners of A3/A4
VW's and newer Auid's are not what I would call "Real" VW enthusiast's.
They bought the new VWs and such but have never owned one before in their
lives,Nor have they ever considered them. With that said I think we should
let the "newbies" carry on, and look like idiots. Everybody knows who the
real V-Dubbers are and who aren't. I'd like to think that we really don't
need them. Look at it this way. When Hondas got popular, how many goofs
sold their "American" Hot Rods to buy a Civic, Prelude, etc. And look at
them now, Neon, 20's, Fart pipes. I'm sure it was a Honda dolt who coined
the phrase Bling Bling. After reading the article I took it as the magazine
neither condemmed or supprted the writer. I'm sure it was printed to keep
things interesting. So what am I saying here? I dunno. Maybe for once I
am suggesting let a Wanker be a Wanker. Normally I would jump in and
suggest bashing his head with a cam or something silly like that, (Which I
have done in the past.) but then where would we be? Nowhere but comsulting
a Lawyer, and at the Machine Shop getting our cams Re-Faced be cause we
scratched a lobe on his Gold tooth. And that's not cool for anyone. Okay
I'm done. Say did anyone see the Bevis and Butt-Head tapes Time Life is
selling now?
Cheers,
Erik
