Hi Larry;
The gas engine you install instead of the Diesel will have spark =
plugs and a distributor. Put one end of the spark plug wire on the spark =
plug and one in the distributor cap.

Hi Dan;
Changing from diesel to gas is a cinch if you use a carb with =
it's intake manifold instead of fuel injection. You don't need an =
electric fuel pump just put the stock VW mechanical where the fuel =
regulator goes on the block and use the diesels fuel lines and tank. Get =
a points distributor and it is easy to hook up with just a coil and a =
few wires. This has been standard practice for years for folks who are =
tired of the diesels habit of puking head gaskets.
