Nah, each US bumper weighs ~38 pounds. Each Euro bumper weighs 19 lbs. Put that together, and you save 38 pounds.
Did you remove the seat belts from the rear as well? They weigh a few pounds. How about the material udner the carpet? Someone told me there's bags of sand of some sort, there to absorb the moisture.
