No, I didn't say Rockford was before Bond...   just that the maneuver is
most commonly known as a "Rockford".  Not saying Rockford did it first,
better, faster, etc

Walk up to any driving enthusiast over 25 and ask him what a Bond turn is...
you will most likely get a blank stare.  Then mention a Rockford and watch
his (or her) eyes light up in recognition...   don't even have to say
Rockford turn, just Rockford will suffice
