[OT] Jetta GLX w/very high miles

There is a guy on vortex w/a mk3 jetta (a 95, I think) FS. It has the vr6 motor and is going for $3500. the car has 160k miles on it though.

thats way too many miles, eh ?  I should  not go near it, eh? It is not a scirocco and will probably be a major pain from here on out ?

where were these a3s made, in Mexico ?

ppl are telling me that the 6s are more expensive to maintain too.

I still love my rocc but wanna get something a little more plush. I am lookin at mk3s w/4cylinders bascially, and am wondering if I should avoid the 6s. whaddya think ?

a passat would be nice, a lot of listers also have passats I think.
