Motor Mount Question
the prevent tearing the mount rubber during forward/reverse movement of the
engine. the only thing that can make this much force is a front end collision.
thats my guess based on the fact that i've only ever seen them on the front side
of the mounts. they prevent the engine from moving too far when the mount does
finally fail, collision or not.
