change tranny or not ? Was: need some advice.

get the linkage and shifter assembly replaced, get the oil of the tranny
diagnosed (don;t recall wher but its searchable online) abd then decide if
the tranny is doing anything abnormal before changing it, I have 2
scirocco's with original trannies and clutches, one have over 190K and th
other 238K and they both haul ass without a problem.
