  mike,
did you call breandan? i'm just trying to pass along what he said about 
timing the motor. if you talk to him directly it might make more sense. he 
said it has to be set a 2 degrees retarded to be "in time". mybe he's 
meaning that set at 2 degrees retarded it will cure your  problem, give him 
a call.
