Wiring help

How do I make a connection to a blank space on my fuse box?  I need a
power source with a 10 amp fuse for my knock sensor.  I ASSUME that I
could run it directly from the battery with a fuse (like my stereo), but
I'd like to do in better.  I took the fuse box off of its mount, but
fear got to me before I started unhooking wires from it.
