beginning the FI Quest - what to get from a G60?
Well, mine's not actually *running* yet, so I can't be
100% sure, but I'm pretty sure all you really need is
the brain box and the main wiring harness that
connects to it. I also grabed the other harness that
plugs into the two small connectors that are clipped
into the bracket that holds the housing. I followed
all the wiring and unplugged the two or three plugs on
the back of the fuse panel that I needed. That was it!
The only thing I didn't grab that might have been nice
were the components for the after-run system. One of
the relays involved in this (fuel pump? can't remember
and I'm not home) is special I guess.
Of course, if you're not actually using a G60 engine,
you'll need some sort of fuel rail, injectors,
injector wiring, the sensor wires, sensors, etc...
#1 important tool: Corrado Bentley! Expensive, but
very helpful.
