Buying 88 16v

Welcome John from a fellow minister and Roc owner. Perhaps the best
thing that can be said of the Sciroccos is that they will keep you on
your knees; either working on them or praying for them. They are a lot
of fun. I have a red '87 16V that I took over from/for my son since he
couldn't afford the habit. I really enjoy driving it when it lets me.
There is a wealth of knowledge in these guys on this list so I know
experientially you'll get a lot of insight and help.

Hello, I am rev john ballard of vancouver washington.  I have been an
ordained minister since july of 1999.  My friend is talking me into
buying a 88 16v scirocco.  I am just wondering what to look for in the
car.  Also the car is in perfect shape I was wondering where the "Weak
or Problem" parts or areas are.  I hope to hear a few replys my newly
found friends.
