Check my funky web page, it has a hybrid K/S schematic(s). (K/S = Knock
Sensor)


It's OK to transplant the motor as a whole. But if it really _is_ a high
compression motor you are going to want to provide for an ignition
retard system that deal with 'ping' or knock.

Some folks get away without one, more power to them.

I am afraid I'm not sure if your 86 8v chassis came with a 10:1 but some
how I think it was originally a JH 8:1.
