Towing??

rieger pulled trailer full of goodies back from cincy:

1 set of koni adjustables, 2 sets of wheels, 3 trannies, and one pass. door.
that combined with the weight of the trailer (read: rear half of rocco), has to
be a good bit of weight. it wasnt very happy through the mountains, had to shift
to 4th on the way up, but the reiger has an FN trans, so my 4th is about equal
to a normal roccos 5th.
my hitch wasnt even a heavy duty type, completely custom made by myself:

i had a u-bar stradling the void space behind the wheel well. i cut the top
section out to get to it:

**important note: you want to minimize tongue weight (but you do need some
amount of tongue weight). roccos arent happy with large tongue weight back
there. i built the trailer to have 20 lbs empty. i have to load it strategically
to keep some of the weight up front.
