Fwd: winter projects

Hey There,

I've been in the midst of my winter project. I've purchased three Sciroccos, 
one fairly clean builder with a chewed crank chuck key and two other auction 
rides that were the best combined $195 I've ever spent. One was a black 85 
8V rollover I towed home for $25 with no keys. Swapped the ignition, it 
started right up, burned off some oil and ran and DROVE very well. Motor 
turned out to have 160 compression in all 4 cylinders at wide open throttle. 
It also donated it's nearly perfect dash and a set of 14" Konig Competitions 
(recently traded with Mr. Rabbit16V for a pristene set of 16V front seats. 
The other "auction ride" was a $170 DREAM! It donated euro bumpers (a few 
holes included), koni front struts, boge rear struts, lowering springs, big 
Nuespeed sway bars, 4-1 header, G-grind cam, Nuespeed TB, K&N, Accel coil, 
and 15" Prime 5 stars with descent rubber. Sooooo, I have now, after 
stripping the other two, begun the long laborous process of transferring all 
these goodies to the builder. It will shape up to be quite a runner when 
finished! There's my free time when I can break away from our new baby!
