Tech - Cam Break In Procedure ?

I rebuilt my head this summer (motor has 350 000 kms),
and I did restart the motor with fresh oil/filter
(esso extra/Bosh filter). Ran the motor at 2000 RPM
for 20 minutes, then I dropped the oil. Fresh oil
again (esso extra/Bosh filter), for about 500 kms.
Dropped the oil again, and now back to Castrol Synthec
5W50.

It sure is overkill, but oil and oil filters are
cheap.

Go with what feels comfortable for you. We all know
somebody who never changes their oil, and they like it
that way. The motor might not agree, but...
