VW Reliability

If my VW was in anybody elses hands they would hate it, but since I know a lot about my "work in progress" '83. It has had only one breakdown that wasn't "forecasted."(several others that I expected because of jobs I did in a hurry, mostly electrical problems). That was when I broke my timing belt, thank god I have an 8v-
