16V Problems... Part 18 - Please help an idiot...
CIS-E's fuel and ignition controls are completely independent. The knock
box only receives input from the knock sensor, hall sender and the
throttle switches. If I recall correctly the only cross-connection
between the knock box and the fuel control unit is for tach signal, power
and full throttle switch(?) The knock box does not receive any input from
the fuel control unit.
