We do worse to ours, and no broken shafts, and actually I never see VWs w=
ith
broken shafts at the strip. Denny's been launching at 4000-5000 rpm so we=
should be snapping them. Maybe you bought Honda shafts, they break them a=
ll
the time (saw one guy burn through two in one day, then he ran out of par=
ts to
borrow and went home on the flatbed...) Having said that, I've got the
guaranteed for life Canadian tire ones anyway, so cost of breakage isn't =
an
issue. But we do toast clutches.
But if what I see is typical, there's something up with your car.
