what years was this available???



Note that Canadian models did not get CIS-K Lambda until the advent of the
JH motor (A1 GLI, GTI, Cabriolet, Scirocco - 83 for the GTI, 84 for the
rest.) All other A1's were CIS. In the A2 lineup CIS was retained for
MX and GX motors - through the 87 model year.  CIS-E was reserved for the
GTI/GLI HT/RD/PL(including the 16V Scirocco.)
