Graaaahh thermostat....
Dumped my coolant today to fix a faulty thermo switch (took the rad all the
way out)
and decided to throw in a new thermostat since the coolant was out. (error
;p )
New one won't freaking open, so i have a bigger problem than before..
My question to the fold is:
Is it not opening because my dumb ass bought a defective part from
crappy tire,
or is this due to air behind the thermostat preventing it from
opening..
What are my options here.
I'm planning on dumping the coolant once again and replacing the
thermostat
with a real audi/vw one. Do i have any other options?
Also.. should i be filling the radator first? or is filling via
resesivour enough?
