rear camber problems??

Shimming is how you correct/alter the camber. So yes, stock there whould
be no shims in there. Ever seen one? Squarish wedge shaped gasket looking
thing. Just be sure to getthe right one(s). 

If its out of spec then you got bigger issues. Shocks in any state of
wear wont alter the rear camber either. Its solely set by the axle. Do
you have the wrong offset on the wheels? Lowered the car? This can also
contribute to tire rub on the spring. How far out of spec is it? Got some
alignment numbers?
