On a 16v or 8v CIS turbo setup, the air flows though the airbox, then to the
turbo inlet. Turbo then sends the air out to the throttle body.
Many people convert to an EFI setup where you take away the airbox and
remove the air metering aspect of it. The EFI system is controlled by the
pressure in the manifold, intake air temperature (g60) and engine
temperature and then meters fuel accordingly. In this example a cone filter
is used at the turbo inlet.
