How's the Dynomax muffler?

Well, my second Flowmaster is sounding worse and worse (the first one had bad chambers, I think this one does too), so I'm gonna go with the Dynomax next.  Anyone care to share their opinions?  Sound?  Power?   www.scirocco16v.com has an article where he put on a Dynomax and lost lots of pull, but that was on a 2.0L.  1.8L here, nearly stock (TT cat-back + racing header).
