MkI radio mounting question

I fyou are very careful you can drill out the rivets that hold that bracket
on. I havent had any problem fitting Alpine units into any of my MKI's. Just
make sure you lift the harness for the hazard/defrost switches up above the
radio while installing it. Oh, and if you opt to drill the rivets you will
need to remove the instrument cluster or buy a REALLY long drill bit. HTH
