need help - too much play on the driveshaft flanges??

Uhhh...maybe.  It could be work splines, worn diff bearings, or a worn
shaft bushing in the diff.

If you have other flanges, see if they're tighter.

If not, assemble it anyway and understand that the seals won't be
perfectly dry.  If you can handle that, I wouldn't worry too much about
it unless it's making nasty noises.
