Tuning amp/sub/tube (was RE: Re: Speaker opinions...)

Not necessarily. A square or rectangular box for that matter will, for 
obvious reasons, resonate alot more than one with uneven sides. A tube has 
no parallel sides. Therefore, resonance will be reduced far greater than an 
enclosure with parallel sides.
