strut ?

i'm going to be doing suspension on the $200 rocco, and i've got a like new 
set of boge strut cartridges that i want to use, but don't have new cap/nuts 
to go with. when removing these caps/nuts to take out the old cartridges is 
there a trick to getting them off w/o destroying them? i normally end up 
cutting them off. or is there a place to buy just the cap/nut? tia
