booster swap. questions

well if you have 10.1 in front, yeah I would suggest getting the 16v booster
and M/C. the  pain of it is the pedal cluster and switches but once it is
done you will definatly feel a difference in your pedal pressure with the
16v 22m (corrado g60 or other similar model) master cylinders, as the stock
rabbit M/C is really small for the application.

but

if you are going back to 9.4 then you would not need to change the M/C but I
am unsure (never done it or heard someone doing this) if the smaller m/C is
compatible (shaft lengths) with the bigger booster, anyone have a clue? or
done this?
