I need 12mm threaded rod or long bolts.....
Got your post right before heading out on errands. Stopped at the local
hardware store while I was out -- lots offered in the M12-1.75, even
some in M12-1.25, but nothing in 1.5. The hardware guy said it's fairly
uncommon (thank you VW), it can be gotten, it will be expensive,
especially hardened and fully threaded.
If I understand what you're trying to do, the tool would bolt into the
wheel bolt holes and then nuts would be turned down the length of the
bolts driving some device against the old bearing. Am I right?
