[OT] One more reason to ban HTML



if the bandwidth restrictions are so stiff that you cant even receive html
email, your isp will surely go under. the average html email is only ~100
characters larger than the same text email (basically has an html header
added to it). multiply that by say 2000 emails over a months time (common
for the scirocco list), and you get a whopping extra 200kbytes downloaded.
That much bandwidth is transmitted for a single large picture. bandwidth
restrictions are usually for people that like to transmit full cds worth of
info over the net. if they end up messing with html email then we have big
problems.
