trailing arm ?

time for me to get this trailing arm ready to give to calimus at cincy, 
problem is i have an 8v and a 16v arm here, but i can't tell which was 
which. does it matter? was there a difference between the 8v and the 16v 
rear trailing arm? i'm talking the arm itself here, no brakes, sway bars or 
spindles etc.  tia
