pulling 85 8v injectors

ok folks, i have a basically stock 85 thats been sitting for about 
6 months, and now im going to do some head work on her. i have the 
special tool for the two screwdrivers, as well as two 24 inch 
screwdrivers to go along with em. now as hard as i pry on those 
damn injectors they wont budge past being able to twist slightly. 
i only got one out and thinking the worst was over i tried for 
another half hour on the other three before giving up. is there 
anything i can use to shrink up them o-rings? is prying against 
the valve cover (with plenty of padding of course) the only way to 
do this? i really need to get her running
