Oui-l pump woes

So here's the deal. My Audi's been having a lot of squeal problems as of 
late, and at that, the hydro head has been clicking a lot more than it 
really should be... takes a bit too long to stop for my tastes... so in 
preps for Cincy, I wanted to change the oil and water pumps along with the 
alternator... unfortunately, my plan has hit a snag. Three local parts 
shops, one being Autozone and another being Carquest, had no listing 
whatsoever for an oil pump for my car. Carquest didn't even have one for 
the Quantum, so essentially, I was screwed there. With no real options left 
as far as new goes, I tried one last thing. Cringe, for I called the 
stealership. They have oil pumps, oh yes, but for a price. A ridiculous 
price. I was quoted $350.12.

I just about fell over.

Options? Please? Tell me I have a few more options than going to the 
junkyard and getting one from there, taking the risk it's not cruddy as all 
heck...
