Umm, the emitted light's polarization from a basic bulb does not change
depending on the angle of light output. Furthermore the emitted light is not
polarized at all, it has uniform representation.

As such a polarized plastic lens wouldn't do anything like you want it to.

I'm sure someone has invented a plastic that only lets through light aimed
perpendicular to the surface of the plastic, but I don't think you really
want that. I think it would hurt light coverage to the sides and on the
ground ahead of the car too much.
