Actually, while I agree that SUVs suck, they are certainly safer for his
family (in the SUV) and less for yours.

I hate to see the disparity on the road in the real world but his kids are
going to fare a whole lot better if the Suburban plows over your Scirocco
(obligatory Scirocco content ;) than if he creams you in a Jetta.

Sure the SUV is more likely to roll than a Jetta, and takes longer to stop
from speed, and sucks more gas and is harder to park and...
