Where to mount O2 sensor bolt

i think the o2 sensor measures the %o2, rather than an absolute amount. so 
it shouldn't matter whether running it from 4 pipes or 1, except at the 
collector you have a better feel of what the engine is doing on average, 
instead of just 1 cylinder.

Think of it this way. Your sensor reads the amount of oxygen in the exhaust 
stream. If you mount it where you have 4 times the exhaust then it will read 
4 times the oxygen and think the car is running lean. Keep it where it is.
