Stay away from those things (Saabs). I have worked on way too many and =
they are NOT fun to mess with. Out of about a dozen that I have worked =
on, atleast 6 needed headgaskets, the other 6 needed clutches and they =
all seem to have weird electrical problems. Plus, they aren't NEAR as =
fun as a VW, any VW!! Still think that 6.5K or 7K is too much for a =
Scirocco unless it is show or next to show condition. HTH!!

For those who remember I was going to buy a really nice Scirocco for =
roughly 6.5K CDN. The price is now 7K. I am also thinking about a 1986 =
SAAB 900s 16V. Any input or does anyone know anything about SAABs? =
Should I stick with the 16V Scirocco?
