Good Source for (VDO) Gauges?

where is a good place to get (VDO) gauges from? i have looked at 
http://www.egauges.com but they are still very expensive.

i am in need of a Air/Fuel Ratio Gauge and Pyrometer/EGT Gauge. i have 
looked at the DIY Air/Fuel Gauge on the scirocco.org site but it didnt have 
a pic of the final product. Wing, do you happen some pics of the gauge once 
you got it all tucked away in there?

also, what kind of tubing should i use for my boost gauge? is there anyway i 
can make it myself (take a trip to the hardware store) or should i just 
splurge and order a kit online from someone?
