Clutch cable Q..... "self adjusting"



This is usually from someone who didn't know how to disconnect the self
adjusting cable and just stuck it back on the only way they could.  There is
a way to reset the self adjusting cable by twisting it a pushing it
together.  I don't know if the Bentley describes this or not but it is
actually kind of hard to describe.  Mostly just have to experiment but once
you get it you'll know it.

After saying all of that, I would still do what Peter said and get a manual
adjust.  The ONLY drawback to having a manual adjust is that you have to
adjust it manually (duh!!) but lots of benefits!!  Cheaper, easier, smaller,
etc.  HTH!!
