When Undoing the nuts this way, if you plan to ever use the struts again,
you can spin the shaft and this can a) damage the valves or b) unscrew the
shaft from the valve (many struts screw together at the bottom.)

So, if you dont care, impact it, on the new stuff do it the right way.
