Oil fill cap q's

Hey,  I saw some talk a while back about the oil fill cap's leaking of
they are the EOM style.  I recently replaced the dip stick guid on my
rocco and now I have a leakage problem from under my oil fill cap.  Is
it better just just get some cork and make a new gasket or to just get
an aftermarket cap?
