To answer your quesion, it will not make any difference from the cat =
back. If you are replacing the stock cat back with a 2" in the hope of =
increase performance you will be extremely disappointed if you keep the =
stock exhaust manifold. The most restrictive manifolds VW ever made =
were put on Sciroccos from 82 - 84. One of the most popular upgrades is =
replacing you manifold with a stock 4 into 2 manifold and an aftermarket =
down pipe. =20
