Any interest in amber or clear turn signals for the Mk. 1?

Kirsten, I can't tell the difference between the stock and the amber-colored
reproduction units! That was your intention, correct? At first I thought you
were making something new. So, if the idea was to make an exact
reproduction, I think you've accomplished your mission.

As for the clear lenses, I'm not a fan of the look at all. However... I
really would like to see what they look like in a smoked configuration. I
might have to pick up a set of those depending on how good they look. Btw,
how much should these units cost?

  I'm in the process of having amber and clear turn signals (the whole unit
minus the rubber gasket) made for the Mk1 Scirocco ('78-'81). The amber ones
are completed, and I am currently having the color formulated for the clear
units. I'd like to find out, via email, as to what percentage I should focus
on and also to get an idea of how many to create. The following is a link to

clear lens. The final turn signal will be less white and more clear, much
like the Mk2 clear signals.
