[somewhat OT] 2.0l trans Q

Hey gang.  Just curious what kind of trans would be on the car with this 
2.0L I'm thinking about getting.  Any gears in there that would be good in 
my trans?  The car is a '91 Passat.  Anyone have a code for that tranny, or 
ratios or whatever?
