Group buy! (was: Hatch cover holders)
I think we should have a few thousand made and preserve them in cryostasis
for all current and future Scirocco owners to use (read Jeff needs
straight-jacket).
would someone mind throwing out the NAME of one of these dealers that
supposedly stocks them? ;) And, I wonder (hear the gears grinding?), why
the Potterman hasn't thought of this already - I know the general mantra of
this list is not to get over on other Scirocco owners, but someone could
make a good chunk of change duplicating (or even improving) the OEM straps.
Any of our resident chemical engineers care to offer up a synopsis of what
it would take to make them (hopefully more durable than OEM! :p ) Larry?
