parts ?'s (sorta long)

so now that i'm back walking w/o the crutch i've started to put my '88 back 
together and salvage parts from the '86. first question- while installing 
the euro lights into my '88 i found that the plugs don't match, not a 
problem on my '86 so i tried to take the plugs from the '86 and transplant 
them to the '88. no go, still different. anyone know where to get the 
correct plugs? and why the difference in plugs between my '86 and '88?
question 2- pulled the 50mm intake of the '86 and found thatin the impact 
the housing for the cold start valve broke in two. are the housing the same 
from a stock intake?
question 3- now that i hooked the battery back up in my '88, a hidden alarm 
that p/o had installed has reared it's ugly head. if i just cut it out will 
that kill the problems or cause more? if it will cause more is there a 
correct procedure for unhooking an alarm system? it's a hornet if that makes 
a difference, but i have no idea what it's feature are and do not have the 
remote for it.
