Guess I didn't read the Bentley too well, because I don't remember the DON'T 
MOVE ONE PIN AT A TIME warning.  :)  Sometimes ignorance is bliss!

I did the parallel adjustment by measuring with a ruler the distance from 
the notch on the rail to the center of the pin (look at picture in Bentley 
to see what I'm talking about).  I cannot see why anyone should need a 
special tool for this.  Moreover, bentley's warning makes no sense.  Oh 
well!

Glad the silicone worked!
